POLICE investigating the disappearance of mother Natalie Bracht and her five daughters have traced her to the Harlesden area of London.

However, officers believe that she may now have moved on to another part of the capital in her bid to evade being found, an effort which has also seen her radically change her appearance.

Ms Bracht ,34, left her home in Sunderland on Saturday May 17 with her five daughters, aged between five and 13, and travelled in a taxi to the Haymarket area of Newcastle, where she was seen at 1pm.

Officers investigating the disappearance, which is now in its second week, have evidence that the family travelled to Kings Cross in London by train on the afternoon they went missing.

Ms Bracht and her daughters have not been seen since and concern for their safety is growing, given the length of time they have been missing and growing concerns regarding Natalie's emotional well-being.

DCI Roger Ford said: "The latest information we have places Natalie in the Harlesden area of London, a long way her home in the North-East and a long way from her daughters' friends and school.

"So far her decision to change her appearance and avoid identification by moving away from her home shows a high degree of planning and a great deal of effort which further raises my concerns about her emotional well-being and the safety of her children."

Anyone with information about Natalie or her children, is asked to call Northumbria Police, on 03456-043-043.
