A recent announcement from the BBC has revealed that a number of radio stations and are set to be down for up to two hours today.
Arqiva, the site operators of the Bilsdale mast, informed BBC Radio Tees of the affected stations at around 11.50am this morning.
Stations including 95FM, DAB, all BBC National DAB and all commercial radio from there will be down.

The shutdown is set to last between 90 minutes and two hours, according to BBC Radio Tees.
In the meantime the BBC has directed its listeners to BBC Sounds.
It is not currently known why there has been a shutdown.
A spokesperson for Arqiva said: "Planned work is being undertaken at the Eston Nab transmitter which affects a sub-set of radio services, but not TV services. We apologise for the short interruption to radio services.”

This shutdown is likely to be for a period of between 90 minutes and 2 hours.
