The North East's biggest fireworks and music extravaganza returns next month after last year's sell-out event.

The Pyromusical show returns to Bishop Auckland on Saturday, November 5  and will be taking place at 11Arches Park.

It will feature a mix of pyrotechnics and music, and is the UK's biggest seated firework and music display.

The name of this year's show is 'Either side of the pond', and will pit the US versus the UK in a soundtrack showdown.

Anne-Isabelle Daulon, Founder and CEO, said: “We are looking forward to seeing so many happy visitors to this year’s Pyromusical, following on from the success of last year’s show.

“It is a lovely event for all the family to enjoy, with warm, comforting food available before the show before the popular music and pyrotechnics begin.

"The audience’s reaction has been incredible in previous years and I’m sure that our 2022 event will wow everyone attending.”

The event will take place on a 7.5-acre stage and the venue will offer 8,000 tickets for the display.

Meanwhile, there will be fire pits dotted throughout the venue to illuminate the venue and provide visitors with warmth.

Organisers say the evening is perfect for family and friends, with safe viewing and seating ideally suited for everyone from grandparents to young children.

In terms of snacks, hot dogs, popcorn, chips and drinks will all be available from the food court.

The 25-minute display is produced by the pyrotechnics team renowned for their epic displays set to music at 11Arches Park, which hosts thrilling shows every Saturday throughout the summer season.

Gates will open at 4pm for the November show, and the performance will start soon after at 7pm.

A shuttle bus service will be available from Bishop Auckland bus station, priced at £2 per person.
