A TEENAGER hurt in an early morning assault has died of his injuries.
Ryan Hyden, 19, from Sunderland, was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital following the incident, near Idols Bar on High Street West, Sunderland, at 3am on Bank Holiday Monday.
He was later transferred to Newcastle General Infirmary, where he died tonight.
An 18-year-old man arrested for assault has now been re-arrested on suspicion of murder.
