Visitors and event-goers were treated to a range of events at Stanhope Show yesterday including horse classes, sheep showing, caber tossing and rabbit judging.
Marking their 180th show, the event aims to celebrate everything to do with Weardale farming, its people and entertainment.
Pictures show dozens of people donning coats and umbrellas as they endured the rain to watch the show.
Wellies and boots were also commonplace with the ground becoming slick with mud thanks to the wet weather.

The rain wasn’t the only thing to overshadow the event, however, as the show paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who died on Thursday.
A spokesperson for the show added: “We are sure that you will join with us in sending our deepest condolences to His Majesty King Charles III and the Royal family at this very sad time.
“It has been decided that Stanhope Show 2022 will go ahead, albeit in a sombre mood.
“We will commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II on both Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September, when we call upon everyone to observe a 2 minute silence at 1pm on both days.
“A Book of Condolence will be opened by the President, Chairman and Officials of Stanhope Agricultural Society on Saturday 10th and will be available for visitors to pay their respects on both days.”
