Organisers of Hardwick Festival are celebrating after announcing that its opening day is completely sold out.
The festival, taking place this weekend at Hardwick Hall near Sedgefield has revealed that all Saturday and full weekend tickets are now sold.
Organisers do not want people to be disappointed and turn up on the day, hoping to be able to pay on the day.

But the good news there are still a limited amount of Sunday tickets available, which can be purchased via the website at www.hardwickfestival.co.uk
The Specials will headline on Sunday, with other big names taking to the main stage throughout the day include Becky Hill, Ella Ayre and The Proclaimers.
The introducing stage featuring up and coming acts, children’s area, a fairground and a food and drink village will also be available throughout the final day.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have had such an incredible response and sold out completely for Saturday, with only a few tickets remaining for Sunday,” said John Adamson, owner of Hardwick Hall.
“We are completely confident it is going to be a spectacular event and that everyone will have an amazing time.”
