Love Island stars Adam Collard and Paige Thorpe were spotted enjoying a bite of lunch on Tyneside this afternoon (August 18).

The Geordie bombshell has been spotted showing new girlfriend Paige around the North East over the last couple of days, but had time to pose for a selfie with fans while enjoying a bite to eat in Tynemouth.

The pair, who came fifth on this year’s series of Love Island, were seen having a bite of tapas at Allards Lounge on Tynemouth Front Street on Thursday (August 18) lunchtime while excited fans stopped to chat and pose for a picture.

One eyewitness told The Northern Echo: “There were so many people trying to get pictures with them because they were sat outside.

“He’s massive – I didn’t realise how big he was.”

Since leaving the ITV2 show at the beginning of the month Adam visited Paige’s hometown of Swansea and is now introducing her to the North East.

They were also seen enjoying a meal at Lobo Rojo in North Shields on Tuesday night before heading into town where they were partying at Market Shaker, on Newcastle’s Bigg Market.

Adam was reportedly ‘attacked’ during the night out and had his top ripped off but the pair were all smiles as they were photographed with fans on Thursday.

It comes after Paige announced she would be returning to her job as a paramedic following her time on the popular dating show.

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine she said: “It's one of those things - I genuinely just love my job. So why wouldn't I want to go back to it? I really enjoyed it. But I'll do other things alongside it.”

Personal trainer Adam rose to fame as a contestant in 2018 and returned to the villa as a bombshell this year when sparks started flying between him and Paige, who entered on day one.

The pair came fifth on the latest series of Love Island, which finished at the beginning of August.
