What’s the weather like this weekend?
Looking ahead into the weekend, the North East will see a dry Saturday with breezy and heavy rain for a time, but clearing later.
On Sunday, bright and sunny spells with scattered showers and lighter winds have been predicted.

In Darlington temperatures are set to hover around the 20c mark with some chances of rain throughout the afternoon on Saturday.
On Sunday the picture is the same with slightly lower temperatures at 19c and further chances of rain.
