A woman was taken to hospital following a crash involving three vehicles on the A69 at Haydon Bridge, near Hexham on Friday (August 12).
The collision caused major disruption on the A69, as emergency services dealt with incident, with diversions in place for a couple of hours.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Shortly before 12pm today (Friday), we received a report of a three vehicle collision on the A69 near Haydon Bridge.
"Emergency services attended the scene and a female was taken to hospital to be checked over.

“The road was closed while a vehicle awaited uplift but re-opened at about 2.15pm.”
The westbound carriageway was closed westbound between Hexham and Haydon Bridge, with Highways England putting a temporary diversion in place.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 11.57am to reports of a five-vehicle road traffic collision on the A69 at Haydon Bridge.
"We dispatched two double-crewed ambulances. One patient was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary."
