- One person has been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on the A69 at Haydon Bridge, near Hexham.
- A Northumbria Police spokesperson said shortly before 12pm today officers received a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A69 near Haydon Bridge.
- Emergency services attended the scene and a female was taken to hospital to be checked over.
- The road was closed while a vehicle awaited uplift.
