Canadian superstar Michael Bublé will play to thousands of fans at Durham Cricket Ground this week, two years after initially planned.

The singer will be hoping to bowl over fans when he performs at the Seat Unique Riverside stadium in Chester-Le-Street, County Durham on Wednesday (July 6) on the only North East stop on his tour.

Fans will be hoping the singer plays some of his biggest hits including ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ and ‘It’s a Beautiful Day’.

The four-time Grammy award winner is currently on his ‘An Evening with Michael Bublé’ UK tour, performing at outdoor venues across the country.

The concert was initially set to take place on August 1, 2020, before being cancelled and rescheduled to Tuesday July 27, 2021. It was then postponed again to this week.

Bublé follows in the footsteps of Diana Ross who took to the stage at the Riverside last Wednesday (June 29) night.

Ross was slammed by some fans after the gig, where she appeared on stage for just over an hour and had no support act.

Bryan Adams was also set to play the Riverside stadium on Tuesday (July 5) but cancelled last month due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’, with disappointed ticketholders offered a full refund.

Tickets are still available for anyone wanting to see Bublé perform with the cheapest available from £79.50.

Michael Bublé will play the Seat Unique Riverside on Wednesday July 4.
