A man was left unconscious outside of McDonald's in York after he was punched in the face in an unprovoked attack during a series of assaults in the area.

The attacks took place on Blake Street according to police and are believed to be unprovoked.

One man was left unconscious after he was punched in the face in one of the assaults outside the fast-food restaurant.

Officers say they are trying to establish the full circumstances around the incident, which took place on Saturday, June 25 at 2.20am.

They are looking to speak to the man captured in the CCTV images as part of their investigation.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Anyone with information should email lauren.heighes-neale@northyorkshire.police.uk or phone 101, select option 2 and ask for Sergeant Heighes-Neale.
