Officers are appealing for witnesses and information after a fail-to-stop crash in Middlesbrough.

The incident happened around 1pm on Saturday, July 2, as a woman driving a blue Volvo waited to turn right onto Linthorpe Road from Parliament Road.

The Volvo was hit from behind by a vehicle, described as a small blue vehicle.

The occupants spoke with the woman and stated they would exchange details before driving off without giving any information.

The woman sustained a minor back injury.

Officers are appealing for the driver to come forward, or any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information to contact PC Lee Benson on 101, quoting incident number 112802.
