A PRIVATE collection of crew tour jackets, staff passes and event information from some of the biggest world and national music names of all time will go under the hammer in the North East later this week.

Acquired during a 40-year career by a stage manager, who worked with some of music’s greatest legends, the collection, which will be sold by auctioneers Anderson and Garland in Newcastle, includes rare, limited-edition pieces, produced and only ever issued to staff who worked on the tours and concerts.

Within the standout pieces include two Michael Jackson jackets, given to touring staff for the 1988 BAD tour, two discrete Bob Dylan Jackets, produced by Levi and only ever issued to tour staff, an Oasis jacket, exclusively produced by Levi, for the 1996 Knebworth Concert.
