The airport, which is close to Middleton St George, near Darlington, is hosting the event for the first time in five years.

Teesside Airport is accessible by road via the A67. On-site parking has now sold out, organisers have said.

The Northern Echo:

Vehicle access to all car parks is from 9am and people are being warned they cannot leave their vehicles overnight.

People have been warned parking is banned on the side of the A67 near the airport. The area will be coned off and any cars left there will be towed away.

People can also arrive using public transport.

The airport is served by the Number 12 bus six times per day running from Hurworth through Darlington town centre, Morton Park and Middleton St George to the terminal building.
