PEOPLE are being advised not to bring their dogs to Teesside Airshow due to the nature of the event.

However, dogs are permitted on the show field at Teesside Airport as long as they are kept on a lead.

The event is making a return to the calendar on Saturday after a five-year absence.

Anyone who plans to attend with a canine companion has been told they must be kept on a lead at all times and all dog mess must be picked up.

Organisers say they do not recommend that people bring their dogs to the event as it will be a very loud show.

All the tickets for the event have now been sold.

The show gets underway at 10am, when the gates and ground attractions open.

Air displays will get underway from 12noon until 5pm.

The programme will include the Red Arrows display team, which will be joined by Flight Lt Adam O’Hare demonstrating the power of his Eurofighter Typhoon combat aircraft, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight team bringing a Spitfire and Hurricane and a display by the RAF Falcons – the UK’s premier military parachute display team.

There will also be a display of vintage vehicles and planes on the ground.
