FINAL preparations are being made for action-packed show ‘Fina and the Golden Cape’ at 11 Arches Park in Bishop Auckland – the home of Kynren.

This Saturday, the epic performance will feature horseback jousting, trick-riding, vaulting and chariot-racing pyrotechnics.

After the show the cast, all volunteers, will host one of the UK’s biggest Jubilee street parties.

The actors, known as ‘archers’ have already enjoyed their own pre-Jubilee party and are now looking forward to the main event.

There will be a live broadcast of the Platinum Jubilee Concert with open air dance floor, bars and a giant street party, all set in the shadow of the landscaped grounds.

As the sun sets a water, lights and firework spectacular will illuminate the Northern sky.

The evening forms part of a series of events at the weekend to mark the Queen's Jubilee.
