DURHAM Cricket's home ground has been renamed Seat Unique Riverside as part of a a new three-year deal, it has been revealed today (May 26).

The announcement comes months after it was first noticed the Emirates signs had been removed at the Chester-le-Street grounds.   

The former Emirates Riverside ground will be known as the Seat Unique Riverside with immediate effect.

Seat Unique is a premium ticketing marketplace where fans can buy official hospitality packages and premium tickets to live sports, music and cultural events.

They work with clubs, venues and rightsholders to help fans securely access hospitality experiences anytime and anywhere through their 24/7 online service.

Durham Cricket have been in partnership with Seat Unique since 2021 when they partnered as the Club’s Official Hospitality & Premium Ticketing Partner.

Having enjoyed a successful first year of working together, the two parties agreed the Ground Naming Rights partnership from May 2022.

Seat Unique is a fast-growing tech company that has developed innovative software to support the digital transformation of clubs and venues online hospitality sales across the United Kingdom.

Seat Unique’s white label website solutions says it has “greatly improved the customer journey for Durham Cricket fans looking to purchase premium tickets and hospitality packages for cricket and concerts in Chester-le-Street”.
