TENS of thousands of pounds worth of designer clothing and jewellery were stolen from a house after two raids in four days.

Burglars stole footwear and accessories from the house in Briar Road, Thornaby, including a large quantity of designer handbags (Chanel, Gucci, Dior and Prada), as well as footwear by Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga.

Jackets by Canada Goose, Burberry and a green Louis Vuitton piece, together worth thousands were also stolen, and a Jaeger Lecoultre watch.

The first incident happened between 8pm on Thursday, May 19 and 3.20pm on Friday, May 20, and the second between 5pm on Sunday, May 22, and 9.50am on Monday, May 23.

Police are appealing for anyone with information, doorbell, CCTV or dash cam footage which could assist on-going enquiries - as well as anyone who’s seen the items for sale anywhere - to contact Cleveland Police via the 101 number.
