A CHARITY fundraiser to help people and groups in County Durham made a welcome return at the weekend The Clique’s It’s a Knockout competition was held on the rugby pitches at Barnard Castle on Saturday with 18 teams of ten taking part.

Organiser David Harper, of The Clique, said: “We have a professional company from down south and they have come up for us for the last four or five times.

“It is like the old-fashioned one that used to be on television in the 70s and 80s. “It is not just a put together one, it is really good.”
