POLICE have launched an appeal for information after a man was taken to hospital after a “serious” assault on Sunday.
The incident occurred on Harrison Terrace in the early hours of the morning on May 15.
Officers are now particularly keen to speak to a woman who found the victim in the Denes area and drove him to Darlington Memorial Hospital at around 5.30am that morning.
The car used to take the victim to hospital is believed to be a black Mercedes A class.
