TWO men were injured following a crash on Roman Road in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, at around 5.15am on Saturday (May 14).

Police are now appealing for information from the public.

Witnesses and people with dashcam footage are being asked to speak to officers, after two men who were riding on a Kawasaki motorbike were injured when they collided with a stationary vehicle.

The passenger received minor injuries, however, the 38-year-old driver was seriously injured and remains in hospital.

The road was closed whilst investigations were carried out, and officers are appealing for anyone with information on the collision to contact them.

Witnesses or those with footage or other information are asked to call Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 081438.
