EMERGENCY services have attended a three-vehicle crash on the A19.
Three of four lanes in Teesside had been closed to allow for the recovery of vehicles. The road is now reopen and congestion is easing.
This incident has cleared, and all lanes have now re-opened on the #A19 southbound in #CountyDurham between the #A66 (#Middlesbrough) and the #A1130 (#StocktonOnTees).

The crash was reported this afternoon on the A19 southbound, between the A66 in Middlesbrough and A1130 at Mandale Interchange in Acklam.
There was heavy congestion to Norton Interchange on the A19 and Surtees Bridge on the A66 and traffic is very slow moving.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
Highways England says there was four miles of congestion on the approach the site of the crash.
