A MAN suffered a broken jaw after being punched in an altercation at a cash machine.
The 24-year-old victim required hospital treatment following the assault in Hartlepool.
It happened at about 11pm on Sunday, May 1, in Church Street.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said it followed an altercation at the Yorkshire Bank cash machine.

The spokesperson said: “The incident happened around 11pm on Sunday 1st May on Church Street following whereby an altercation took place at a Yorkshire Bank a cash machine.
“The 24-year-old male victim was punched to the floor and suffered a broken jaw which required hospital treatment.”
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently on police bail whilst enquiries continue.
Officers believe there were a number of people present who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
One of the males present was wearing a white T-shirt and black jeans.
