How to get tickets for Kings of Leon in Newcastle?

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 8 at 9am. They can be purchased on the Ticketmaster website here.

Kings of Leon formed in 1999 through brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and cousin Matthew Followill.

Success came at first for them in the UK with nine top 40 singles and two Brit Awards in 2008.

All three of the band’s albums at the time peaked in the top five of the UK albums chart.

Eventually they became bigger names in the US as well, with their song ‘Only by the Night’ charting there in September 2008.

Singles that followed, including ‘Sex is on Fire’, ‘Use Somebody’ and ‘Notion’ all peaked at number one on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.
