THE Met Office has warned of further snow this month as temperatures are set to drop and “wintry showers” will move into the North East and North Yorkshire.

As the unsettled weather continues for much of the region, further “wintry showers” have been predicted later this month.

When could we see more snow?

According to the Met Office’s long-range forecast between Saturday, April 9 and Monday, April 18, things are set to be “cold for most places."

However, according to the Met Office, temperatures will soon return to normal in the South and more widely later.

According to WXChart, however, the North East could see snow as early as Thursday this week, as around 1cm of snow is set to fall from 3pm onwards.
