His case went before magistrates sitting at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 30, for sentencing.

The 30-year-old was disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months, with magistrates stating the ban was obligatory due to his repeat offending.

Mounsey, of Upsall Drive, Darlington, was also fined £440 and additional court costs and charges brought the total he has to pay to £569.
