AS Mother's Day comes around again tomorrow, we asked our online readers to send us pictures of their fabulous mums and 'mams' – and a few nanas and grans too.

Lots of messages were paying tribute to mums no longer with us, and while Mother's Day can be a difficult time for those missing their mum, we hope by sharing their pictures it will prompt happy memories.

"She is a strong lady and the head of our family. She has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and she is a mother to all of us day or night. Pauline Dobson we love you!"
