A DISCOUNT store in County Durham is holding a ‘warehouse sale’ with all stock available at half price.
Poundstretcher has announced its ‘50 per cent off everything’ sale at the Bishop Auckland store in Waitling Street.
It follows similar sales from the retailer at other outlets across the country.
Poundstretcher has said there is no suggestion the store is closing, and the purpose of the sale is to move stock.

The offer started this morning (Tuesday, March 8) at 8.30am and includes homeware products, cleaning products and branded confectionery.
Loo Loo Rose, marketing manager of Poundstretcher, said: “50 per cent off absolutely everything in store is such an amazing deal for the local community.
“With stock being updated regularly, customers can treat themselves to bargains time and time again with our fantastic offer.
“Get to the store today and shop ‘til you drop.”
Established in 1981, Poundstretcher also sells over 2,000 products, including a wide range of branded products at low prices, including groceries, toiletries, kitchenware, bedding, bathroom products, furniture, and children’s toys.
