A TEENAGER has died in hospital after her car crashed into a tree on Teesside.
The accident happened when Caroline White's Fiat Punto left the carriageway on the westbound lane of A689 Bell Vue Way in Hartlepool.
The 18-year-old was cut from the vehicle by firefighters and airlifted to Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital with serious head injuries.
The teenager died in the early hours of this morning.
