Sky customers were reporting issues with the Sky Sports channel on Wednesday evening.
Customers reported that the red button on Sky Sports wasn't working and they could watch the channel after the platform went down.
According to Down Detector, issues started at around 9pm with users complaining that they couldn't get the Sky Internet to work either.
Problems were recorded by Sky viewers across the UK on Down Detector including London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham.
Of the problems reported, 95% relate to problems with Sky Internet while 4% reported problems with the Television.
A further 2% of problems were linked to Sky's mobile network.
Customers took to Twitter to complain about the issues.
One user mentioned the Help Team on Twitter, asking:"Any chance of turning your red button footage on?"
While another complained: "Why is it every time I want to use Red button on skysports either it doesn't load, or there are sound issues- wrong game or non existent etc. Not good enough. 45mins missed due to poor service."
