A ROAD is closed following a serious collision involving a cyclist and a lorry.
The incident happened in Northallerton shortly before 3pm.
North Yorkshire Police is at the scene in Friarage Avenue.
It happened near the mini roundabout, just before Brompton Road.

The road is fully closed at Kwik Fit and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
Officers are warning there is significant traffic disruption in the area.
Any witnesses are being asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101.
