TWO teachers at North-East school have been arrested and suspended while police investigate allegations of computer misuse.
The two men, aged 28 and 34, have been released on bail but cannot return to High Tunstall College of Science in Hartlepool while police and education chiefs carry out investigations.
It comes after a complaint was lodged by staff at the school early last week surrounding the alleged misuse of computer equipment on school premises.
A spokesman for Cleveland Police said: "Police are investigating a complaint from staff at High Tunstall College of Science surrounding the misuse of computer equipment on school premises.
"As a result, two male members of staff aged 28 and 34 have been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries."
Mirjam Buhler-Willey (CORR), headteacher at the school, said: "Two teaching staff were suspended last week pending an investigation. It would not be appropriate at this stage to say anything further."
