TWO further teenagers have been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Jack Woodley following a confrontation during a Houghton Feast celebration earlier this year.
Northumbria Police today confirmed that detectives investigating the death of Jack in Houghton-le-Spring have charged another 15 and 17-year-old with the killing.
The charges relate to an incident on October 16, 2021, that saw officers from Northumbria Police receive a report of an altercation near the Britannia Inn on Newbottle Street at 9.30pm.

Emergency services attended and found Mr Woodley severely injured.
The teenager, who was originally from Newton Aycliffe, was taken to hospital, but sadly passed away from his injuries days later.
In October, after investigating the killing, Northumbria Police arrested seven teenagers, aged between 14 and 17, and charged them with murder.
Following new evidence, a further 15-year-old male was arrested in November and also charged with murder.
But, today, the police force revealed that two additional teenagers, aged 15 and 17, have been charged with murder. They will appear at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court later today.
