EASYJET has confirmed the return of international flights from Newcastle Airport - with a daily service beginning in May.

The budget airline will resume international flights between Newcastle and Palma de Mallorca for the Summer 2021 period.

Starting on May 2, the airline will operate up to five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, up until October 29.

It comes just months after the airline announced the permanent cancellation of all international routes from the North East after the closure of its Newcastle base.
