CAZOO, the UK’s leading online car retailer has opened its latest Customer Centre in Scotswood Road, Newcastle - its 21st collection and drop-off location in 15 months.

The site in Newcastle was acquired earlier this year and Cazoo has invested over £1m, creating 20 new customer-facing and vehicle-servicing jobs.

The Customer Centre sites provide consumers the option of collecting or dropping off cars in addition to home delivery and pick up.

Cazoo has been one of the fastest growing businesses in Europe, pioneering the shift to online car buying and selling, as consumers shifted to buying and selling used cars entirely online. The company is planning to open a dozen more Customer Centres across the UK over the next 12 months.

Cazoo owns and reconditions the cars it sells before offering them online for either home delivery or collection in 72 hours. Alex Chesterman, Founder & CEO of Cazoo said, “Consumers across the UK are increasingly embracing buying and selling cars entirely online.

"Our Customer Centres provide the added option for consumers to collect a car they buy from us or drop off a car they sell to us if they prefer. And these sites allow us to better serve our customers with our own service centres. We’re excited to be opening in Newcastle as we provide the best experience to consumers across the UK.”
