A MAN has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Darlington.
The 30-year-old is currently remanded in custody after the incident on Thursday night, which took place at Cockerton Green at around 6.30pm.
Police are now appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
Officers have issued an appeal to speak to anyone who may have seen a man acting suspiciously in the area at the time, as they may have information that could help their enquiries.
The man who police would like to speak to is described as Asian, bald, and was wearing a green jacket.
Police would particularly like to speak to members of the public who stopped to share information that helped direct them to a suspect.
