A NORTH Yorkshire Luxurious boutique hotel has transformed a local bus into a cow in a project in a new project.

The Wensleydale Heifer in West Witton wanted to do something to support the Little White Bus service which operates in and around the Dales, providing vital service for visitors and locals alike.

Father and son owners Lews and David Moss approached the Upper Dales Community Partnership with the idea of transforming one the fleet of the Little White Buses into a cow in a sponsorship agreement which will see The Cow Bus take to the roads for the next two years at least.

The bus includes some "splotches", eyelashes, swishing tail and even some bright pink udders.

Lewis Moss said: "We see the Little White Bus passing the Heifer all the time and always remark what a fantastic service is offers to people in the Dales, both those who visit our lovely area, and those of us who are lucky enough to live here.

“We used to have a Cow Car which always gathered lots of attention when out and about, and hit upon the idea that a bus would be even more eye-catching. We are delighted to be supporting the Upper Dales Community Partnership and the Little White Bus service."
