A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of three counts of robbery.

Cleveland Police said the alleged incidents happened on Sunday morning at the Toby Carvery on Marton Road, Middlesbrough, Beechwood Convenience store in Easterside and near to The Viking Public House, Easterside.

A male is alleged to have made threats with a weapon described as a knife and has demanded money in the incidents.

The man remains in police custody at this time and enquiries are ongoing.
