A MAN has appeared in court following an incident in Chilton on Friday evening.

Liam Keith Hall was charged with two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.

The 33-year-old, from Chilton, appeared before Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning.

His appearance follows an incident in Coleridge Road in which a woman and two teenage girls were taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries.

One of the teenagers has since been released after treatment. The woman in her 20s  and second teenager remain in hospital.

Hall was not asked to plead and the case was sent to Teesside Crown Court. 

He  was remanded in custody to appear again at a hearing on October 12 for a plea and trial preparation.
