Police are appealing for information after graves, including one belonging to a recently deceased person, were damaged in Billingham at the weekend.
It happened at the cemetery on Wolviston Back Lane between 8pm on Friday night September 3 and 11pm the following day, Saturday, September 4.
A floral tribute spelling “Mam”, pots of flowers and an orchid were damaged, as well as neighbouring graves.
Enquiries are on-going and we would appeal for any witnesses or anyone else with information to contact Cleveland Police via the 101 number, quoting Ref 149728.
