THE SOUND of thumping bass will vibrate around County Durham fields on Saturday as revellers return to a popular dance music festival.

Remedy Festival returns to The Hammer and Pincers pub, near Newton Aycliffe, from 12pm-12am, with two stages packed full of Djing talent.

The two "Classics" and "Underground" stages mean there's something for all dance music fans keen to get dancing.

The Northern Echo:

The "Underground" stage is headlined by tech house producer Josh Butler with Cinthie and other local DJs in support.

Over on the "Classics" stage CK Mackintosh and Ibiza DJ Graham Sahara will be headlining proceedings.

The one-day boutique music festival is in support of charity ManHealth, an organisation working to help tackle male depression and suicide in the North East.

Remedy Festival annually raises funds for charities and worthy causes in the North East.

Previously, all of their events have sold out and more than £7,000 has been donated to organisations including Zoe's Place – providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants, Action on Hearing Loss and the Brain Tumour Research Campaign.

The festival's organisers confirmed a slight scheduling change, but that won't stop the party at all.

A statement read: "After isolated complaints about noise, we have been asked to end our event 1h earlier at 11pm on Sat 4th September. Fear not we will also be opening earlier for those 12hour die-hards!"
