It’s believed they then used a power tool to remove the metal shutter and forced an internal door to gain access.

A gold Gas Gas Raga, an orange Scorpa bike and a yellow SWM 1981 bike were loaded into the Renault van which was then driven down Morgan Drive turning left onto Rectory Lane before leaving the area.

Inquiries are on-going and police are appealing for anyone with CCTV, dashcam or other information which could help, to contact Redcar CID via the 101-number quoting Ref 144868.

Alternatively you can pass information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by phoning 0800 555 111.
