The Bradley Lowery Foundation is hosting a summer fun day at Ryhope Cricket Club on August bank holiday Monday, August 30 to raise money for its Super Brad’s Pad project.

The Bradley Lowery Foundation, set up in memory of Bradley Lowery, is currently funding a five-bedroom luxury holiday home in Scarborough for poorly children and their families to make lasting happy memories.

The fun day, which includes selling stalls, bouncy castle, fun fair rides and refreshments, will be free to enter, and runs from 12.30 until 5.30pm.

At 4.30pm an evening of live acts will begin, and run until 9pm. This will include performances from indie band Days of Speed, singers Louise Crosby and Lloyd Joyce, DJ Wake, and comedian/impressionist Danny Posthill, who got to the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2015.

Gemma Lowery, Bradley’s mum and founder of the foundation, said: “We loved fun days with Bradley before he went with the angels, and we want families to be able a have a great time while raising money for a fantastic cause.

“We want Super Brad’s Pad to be a special place kids will love to visit and somewhere families can make memories of special times together.

“The last year has been difficult for all charities, and we’re delighted that we can get together again to fundraise in Brad’s memory.”
