A number of floral displays in Spennymoor have been damaged
VANDALS have left residents, council staff and councillors furious after destroying floral displays in a town.
Flower beds in Jubilee Park, Spennymoor, have been wrecked and last week a filled grow bag on a bus shelter roof in Tudhoe Front Street was stolen.
A council spokesperson said: “Yet again the town council is disappointed about a second incident of deliberate destruction of floral displays, this time at Jubilee Park near the band stand.
“It would be appreciated if anyone has any information regarding either of the two recent incidents to contact the town hall on 01388-815276 or email info@spennymoor-tc.gov.uk.”
