POLICE are investigating two separate incidents of racial abuse that happened last week on Teesside.
A male and a female staff member at Home Bargains on Parkfield Road, Stockton, reported being threatened and racially abused in the store on the evening of Friday, July 16.
A 42-year-old man was arrested and has been released under investigation pending further inquiries.
In a separate incident on the afternoon of Saturday, July 17 a Middlesbrough woman reported a man smashed glass-bottled on her door and house walls as well racially abusing her.
A 48-year-old man was arrested, interviewed and released under investigation.
Inquiries into both alleged incidents are on-going.
