THE jury has retired to consider its verdict in a murder trial after a teenager was stabbed to death.
Nathan Costello admits killing 18-year-old Taylor Black but has always denied murdering him in February 2019.
The 32-year-old stabbed him 64 times and left a kitchen knife embedded in his skull after the teenager unexpectedly turned up at the flat and started calling him a ‘paedophile and a nonce’.
During the trial at Teesside Crown Court, jurors heard how Costello and Mr Black had fallen out two years before the fatal incident happened in the defendant's flat on Ketton Road, Stockton.
The jury retired to started its deliberations this morning.
