POLICE are asking for witnesses to come forward after an 18-year-old biker broke his wrist in a crash.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after the collision involving a Yamaha motorcycle and a taxi vehicle.

The collision occurred at around 2pm yesterday, (Sunday) on the slip road onto the A66, Eastbound from Yarm road in Stockton.

The 18-year-old male rider of the motorbike suffered a broken wrist.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen either vehicle travelling prior to the collision or anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has CCTV or dash cam footage which could assist the investigation to contact PC Daniel Waugh from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 096591.
