Dogs rescued from car
DISTRESSED dogs had to be rescued after being left in a car in hot weather.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at 7.45pm last night to Marine Drive in Scarborough to an incident involving two distressed dogs left in a car.
A service spokesman said: "Crews released them and gave them some water.
"The owner returned whilst crews were on scene and the incident was left with the police."
