POLICE have confirmed that they have found missing 38-year-old man Alex Scanlon.
An appeal was issued earlier this evening after he was reported missing when he didn't return home from work in York city centre yesterday.
Tonight, North Yorkshire Police confirmed he has been found and thanked everyone who shared their appeal.
